Great place to walk, the path does not lead directly along the water, but is so elevated that you have a great view of the water and the hustle and bustle there.

You may not be at the sea yet, but the beach is still wonderful - and you don't even have to cycle far from the center of Hamburg to get there. Make yourself comfortable on the sand and watch the big ships sailing in and out of the harbor.
