Light sandy beach, gently sloping and an opportunity to stop off every 500 m. Due to the location near the Westerschelde there is heavy shipping traffic, so there is always something to see.

The sea and the beach are important poles of attraction for Cadzand. On the beach, the mobilization of old layers of sand as a result of the changes in the flow resulting from the work of the Delta plan sometimes uncover fossil shark teeth. There are also fossil bivalve shells, as well as Cardita planicosta, which is only found here.
