The church tower was built in 1200, the hall structure of the late Gothic church was added in 1366. The church was extended by two aisles in 1514-16. After the war damage from 1949 to 1977, the reconstruction was carried out by C. and J. Merl from Wesel.

In St Cosmas and Damian, there is a church from the 10th century. Me
immediately noticed the modern windows. I did not expect such work in a village church, wonderful! The 14 windows were designed by Joachim Klos from Nettetal-Schaag and were manufactured by the Derix Kevelaer glass workshops. They tell stories with pictures from the legend of the holy Cosmas and Damian.
