Surrounded by a pond and the adjoining Holzhausenpark, the baroque Holzhausenschlösschen is located in the heart of Frankfurt's north end. Since 1989 it has been the seat of the Frankfurt Community Foundation.

Holzhausen Castle (formerly also Holzhausen Oed) is a Baroque moated castle in Frankfurt am Main, surrounded on three sides by Holzhausen Park. It was built by the Frankfurt patrician family Holzhausen on an estate they owned, which at the time lay north of Frankfurt's city limits. Due to the city's growth in the 19th century, it is now located in the Nordend district of Frankfurt.

In 1729, Johann Hieronymus von Holzhausen had a small moated castle built on the foundations of a moated castle based on plans by Louis Remy de la Fosse, who had died shortly before, as a representative summer residence for his family. As a member of the upper bourgeois class of the Free Imperial City of Frankfurt, he imitated a lifestyle that was cultivated by the nobility of the time.
