Vandring
Very beautiful baroque castle, which unfortunately has not been open to the public since the flood of 2002. The outdoor area and the (simple) garden can be visited without restriction.

In Liběchov on the Elbe, the once magnificent castle overlooks a rather poorly maintained park (with beautiful statues and a "spring" - also by Levý?) The beet sugar manufacturer and lord of the castle Anton Veith supported Romantic artists, including the carpenter's son Václav Levý, who 1840-50 (20 years old!) was able to live out his life on the sandstones of the surrounding area before he went to Rome and Prague. This is how the harp, the snake, the devil's heads, the Klácelka (see-saw), etc. emerged in the nearby area.

The once magnificent baroque palace is actually a gem: semi-circular towards the street, the park front is magnificent; it overlooks a rather poorly maintained park with a few beautiful statues, many other statues are missing...
