The 76 meter high octagonal temple stands in the old grounds of the "Temple of Charity".
The tower replaced 1576 an even older temple and is the eye-catcher of the 4-million. Suzhou city, 100km west of Shanghai. The best way to arrive by train and negotiate with the cyclists at the station. They take you through the city.
