The small reservoir is located at the eastern foot of the Großer Gleichberg between Roth and Buchenhof.
You can reach it via the local road Roth - Gleichamberg. About 1500 m after the village of Roth, in front of the stud farm, turn right onto the forest path. After about 750 m, turn right again.
You will find nothing but peace and quiet here. For anglers, however, the water seems to be interesting, as the article on the website alleangeln.de attests.

Speicher Buchenhof is a reservoir in Thuringia near Römhild. The water is fished relatively heavily and is rated by our members as a top fishing area.
The most commonly caught fish here are carp, pike, perch, zander, eel, rainbow trout, roach and tench. The most successful fishing method is bottom fishing.
