if you want the experience of island-hopping between Åland and continental Finland but can only spare a single day (~100 km round trip) from Turku, this one comes pretty close and has great flexibility wrt schedules and quiet roads or bike paths all the way here; you have about 10 mins to cross Palva (or stay for longer, okay asphalt, traffic is whatever came on the ferry with you) to catch the next ferry, Velkuanmaa is all gravel, ferries every 30 mins (with some adjustments for meal breaks, more info at finferries.fi/en/ferry-traffic/ferries-and-schedules/palva.html and finferries.fi/en/ferry-traffic/ferries-and-schedules/velkuanmaa.html )
