To get to the place you will need food and water, which you can buy in Huautla or before entering the Tlaquiltenango highway (right at the junction with the Jojutla-Chinameca highway, or perhaps in Quilamula where there is also a dam that connects to Cruz Pintada. The heat can be over 40ºC so be prepared to sweat and avoid dehydration.
