Cykling

The hall church was built from 1416 to 1421 from ashlar masonry. The square church tower, a Julius Echter tower, stands in the north-east corner of the nave and the choir. A floor was added in 1728, which houses the clock tower and the belfry. On top sits a slated, eight-sided, pointed helmet.

It belongs to the parish of Bad Windsheim in the deanery of Bad Windsheim, within the Ansbach-Würzburg church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria. The building is part of the Franconian Open-Air Museum in Bad Windsheim and is registered as a historical monument in the Bavarian Monument Register under the monument number D-5-75-112-202.
