The so-called Alte Eich is a residential building, a three-story gable roof building with half-timbered floors and a wooden outside staircase, 16th/17th Century.

The Sommerhäuser market square, known as the "Plan," is surrounded by stately homes, among which a narrow half-timbered house and a present-day winery are particularly striking. The small house with its beautiful external staircase once housed the Office of Weights and Measures. Therefore, it is still called the "Old Eich" today.
