Ueckermünde is an independent town in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in north-eastern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The port city is located at the mouth of the Uecker in the Szczecin Lagoon and is the smallest of the 18 medium-sized centers in the country in terms of population.

Even though the city is located on the Szczecin Lagoon, it is still part of the Baltic Sea region, and in the "second row", behind the famous island of Usedom, there is a lot to discover. Enclosed forest areas, beautiful heathland, bathing beaches, cycling and hiking trails, numerous tourist attractions, a beautifully renovated historic old town, zoo, climbing forest and so much more are waiting to be explored on the tour.
