The village of Wallgau turns out to be an insider tip for golfers: in the middle of the wild river landscape of the Isar lies the Karwendel Golf and Country Club, embedded between the Karwendel mountains and the Wetterstein massif. At the 9-hole course, you almost think Bavaria's mountains are watching you tee off.
The panorama is fantastic, the ambience casual and cultivated at the same time, golf beginners are welcome.
