Vandring
The lock, which was only newly built in 2019, was not planned to meet the needs of the area, as it is quite complicated to operate and the alternative portage is made more difficult by railings and steps (four up, a total of six down). However, portage works well with two people and without a boat trolley, especially as getting in and out is easy because the pontoons are well designed.

Vandring
Close both gates, then operate the filling hatches and then the lock will fill up. Then open the gate to drive in and close the gate again. Operate the filling hatches again and wait until the time has expired. Then open the gate to drive out.
