At the entrance to Castelo Novo, the river beach invites you to take a dip and relax. The waters of the Ribeira de Alpreade, which gave the village its name, offer four depths, perfect for all ages. Between the wide lawn, the picnic tables, the bar with a terrace, and the changing rooms, there's everything you need for a relaxing time in the sun.

The river beach of Castelo Novo is bordered by a vast green lawn with large and good natural shadows. Perfect place for the family for the hot and dry days so characteristic of the interior of the country. The refreshing and crystal clear waters of this little paradise come from the Ribeira de Alpeadre.
