Another supposed center of Europe is not so far from here. And which one is the real one now? This cannot be said exactly, since there are apparently different approaches to calculating this point. This is based on calculations made during the time of the imperial-royal monarchy in the 19th and 20th centuries. A memorial stone marks the point, but somehow it doesn't matter where the center of Europe is. At least when there are so many cool trails all around, like here!

The Garnet Fountain and the Königsstein are in the immediate vicinity on the mountain ridge.
