The plotted segment is a combination of trail 18 (Bikčevićeva) to the rest area of Njivice and trail 19 after Njivice. The right trail 18 (Bikčevićeva) after Njivice continues through Gornji Mrzljak - a nicer, quieter and more interesting variant to Puntijarka.

Mountaineering trail 18 or also known as Bikčević trail (right red on the map) as it goes from the Sljeme Tunnel through Bliznec, Bachunski sedlo, Njivice all the way to the mountain lodge "Ivan Pačkovski" (Puntijarka).
Tomislav BikčevićThe trail was named after the forester Tomislav Bikčević (1915-1986), a Slavonian by birth, who worked throughout the former state, but eventually in Zagreb on the revitalization of forests and green areas of Zagreb and Medvednica. Bikčević also worked as a teacher and director at the Wood Technical School.
At the same time, there are mountain shelters Njivice and Mrzljak on this road.

Vandring
One of the most famous trails that leads from Zagreb to the home of Puntijarka. From the home, you can reach the top of Sljeme in about half an hour. The trail is very busy due to the large number of people who go there even during the week. There is a large parking lot at the beginning of the trail.
