According to legend, Saint Kunibert (623-663) was born at the Zeltiger Rosenburg. Since Kunibert bequeathed the castle and all of his father's possessions to the Archbishop of Cologne, the place belonged to the Electorate of Cologne.
You cannot enter the ruins of the only hilltop castle on the Moselle at the moment, you have the best view from the cycle path on the Moselle.
