    The Hude monastery ruins, which are integrated into the von Witzleben‘schen Gutspark, were renovated in 1987 for 2.1 million marks, as otherwise they would have been a danger to the public due to the risk of collapse. Also in 1987 the ruins of the monastery became a national and cultural monument of special importance.
