At the entrance to Leerstetten, at the junction with Brunnenstrasse, this commemorative cross is located south of the bus stop in the direction of Schwand.

It is reported that a Badersfrau Göttingen, who had traded in juniper oil in Schwand (she peddled - as they used to say), was "struck" on the way to Nuremberg. She died suddenly.

This is reported to us by Johann Georg Mayer in the legends from Roth and the surrounding area in the Heimatblatt for history (No. 10. 1931 and No. 11. 1932).
