The church presents itself as a simple building, whose church tower with a wide onion dome characterizes the village. Different sources give construction dates within the pre-Reformation period between 1465 and 1479. The mother church of the Fläsch little church, which was under the patronage of Nikolaus von Myra, was St. Luzisteig at the time, and from 1501 the Amanduskirche in Maienfeld took over this function. In the choir there are still wall paintings from the founding period, which were uncovered in 1963. Since 1987 there has been a two-manual organ on the left in front of the choir.
