Calling this a mountain is a bit of a stretch, but it is the highest point in the state. Check it out. I went in the spring, and I'd like to see it in autumn too. It's a short easy hike, but take water just in case.

Though this "mountain" is not the longest or steepest climb in the world, it does take you up to the highest point in the state. If in the area, climbing this mountain (the tallest in Louisiana) is a must.
