"The Rüdnitz village church is a large fieldstone hall with a retracted choir, built in the middle of the 13th century. On the west side - almost 30 meters high - rises a mighty, boarded half-timbered tower, which ends with a curved, slate dome and a lantern base. "
"Furthermore, the interior has some valuable inventory, such as a late-Gothic carved altar with a wooden altarpiece, a sandstone pulpit with angels' heads, as well as galleries and pews from the 17th century."

The evangelical church was built as an early Gothic stone church between 1230 and 1250. Parts of the church were destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. At the beginning of the 18th century, a new western wall and the spire with the tail cap were added. The altarpiece dates from the beginning of the 17th century, but its oldest figures date from 1430. The pulpit is made of sandstone and was built in the mid-16th century.
