Lake Constance as a water supplier:
Lake Constance provides the raw material that we process into drinking water. We pump the precious goods from a depth of 60 meters to the lake waterworks, where it is treated within five hours. Only then can it be fed into the distribution network as impeccable drinking water that meets the quality requirements. 2.8 billion liters of water are treated annually, which corresponds to a change in the Lake Constance water level of 6 millimeters.
