The small village church in Bodes, which from the outside resembles a house with a steeple, surprises with its rustic Baroque-style ceiling and parapet paintings.
During the preliminary investigation for the church's restoration in 2005, it was discovered that the tree trunks for the church's beams had been felled as early as 1500/1501, while the previously assumed construction date of the church was 1576. In any case, this makes the small village church the oldest place of worship in the parish.

Vandring
Small village church that Eberhard von Buchenau had built in 1576. Great paintings from the 18th century can be seen. In the bell tower there are even beams from the year 1500. Well worth seeing, the church is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
