The "Schloss zu Hopferau" could tell many stories: Built in 1468 by the knight Sigmund von Freyberg-Eisenberg as a hunting lodge.
Through the original entrance door you enter a stylishly furnished reception room.
Also worth seeing is the historic table hall with hand-colored wallpaper, which was made 218 years ago using the wood model printing process. In this form there are only three wallpapers in Europe.
Around 100 weddings take place in the magnificent Knights' Hall every year.
The castle can also be visited by appointment.
