"The Odertalsperre in the Harz lies above Bad Lauterberg in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony and dams the Rhume tributary Oder. The dam was put into operation after three years of construction in 1934, owner and operator are the Harzwasserwerke. "(Wikipedia) At the Odertalsperre there is a campsite and a sailing club. The circular walk is recommended.
