Lake Bohinj, Slovenia
An oasis of peace and unspoiled nature in the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park.
Bohinj is a heavenly valley in the heart of the Julian Alps. Lake Bohinj lies in the heart of Triglav National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Europe. Untouched alpine pastures and mighty peaks rise above Slovenia's largest natural lake.

Lake Bohinj is the largest in Slovenia and like Lake Bled, it was formed by glaciers. You can do many sporting activities including kayaking and SUP. There is a path that surrounds it which can be traveled on foot or by bike. Embraced by the Julian Alps, Agatha Christie wrote that this lake "is too beautiful for murder"
