The medieval town of Ozalj is located on a rock above the Kupa River. It has been mentioned since the 13th century, and was rebuilt as a castle in the 18th century. In its long history, it was owned by the Croatian nobles Frankopan and Zrinski.
Today, the castle houses a local museum with many valuable exhibits, and is a very nice place to visit.

Good spot near the castle for quick bike repairs. There is a bike pump and a selection of essential tools.

Cute little castle, I recommend a visit. There is also a public bike repair station nearby if needed.
