Posted in Byzantine Salento collection komoot.it/collection/1811756/-salento-bizantino - Although there is a direct access route, including a bridge that crosses a rainwater channel (at least I think it is) and that leads close to the ruin it is now impassable due to the brambles and the reeds that now obstruct the passage. However, it is sufficient to walk the right side of the avenue to climb over the obstruction easily. It is worthwhile to look out to peek inside and understand how beautiful this crypt was given the frescoes that still emerge even if in a state of decay.
