Mountainbiking
The Spitzberg is located northeast of the city of Wurzen, near the village of Lüptitz. The Spitzberg got its name from its distinctive conical shape. However, he has lost this due to the intensive stone quarrying since 1888. The Hohburg quartz poryphyr was mined at Spitzberg until 1928, and the quarry has now been filled with water.
