The Scheverlingenburg in Walle in the district of Gifhorn is a fortification built as Wallburg in the pre-Roman Iron Age. In a strategic position between the rivers Oker and Schunter, the complex initially consisted of an approximately 400-meter-long rampart, of which today only a section about 50 meters long and up to 10 meters high is available. During the Middle Ages, the Wall belonged to the 1091 first mentioned Scheverlingenburg, of which no buildings have received.
