Here you will find a large, beautiful lido with a long jetty that leads into the water. Right next to it is a campsite where you can stay overnight with or without a tent.

Kelchterhoef, the name of a nature reserve and recreational area in the Belgian municipality of Houthalen-Helchteren.... is often associated with water. Rightly so, because recreation park 'De Plas', with its swimming pond of 20 hectares and the sandy beach with a demarcated swimming area, has everything for a day trip full of swimming fun with the whole family.
Please note: swimming is only allowed within the designated swimming zone and during opening hours. The swimming area is open from 1 July to 31 August from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (only when the green flag is raised).
