The lake is not very big but an ideal resting place, also for hikers.
This lake was created by sand mining.
In some places you can go directly to the water. not suitable for swimming but the dogs are happy about this cooling off.

The Heseler Wald is of course a popular destination for hiking. Here you can spend some time in nature, to find your own center again, to clear your head, or simply to enjoy nature. When you come to the Silbersee, your stay will be even more beautiful. So park your bike or push it, slow down, inhale and exhale. It's worth it!
