On the beach, you can find original fishing boats made from a single tree trunk.
Ngalawa - traditional boat used on the east coast of Africa (mainly Tanzania and Zanzibar) [1].

The main hull is a dugout, made of a single tree trunk, hewn on the outside and grooved inside. On both sides, plank floats are mounted on the outriggers to increase the stability of the boat. Powered by oars and a triangular sail. The steering is controlled by a hinged rudder [1].

These boats are used for fishing and for the short-distance transport of people and goods [1] [2].
