    No water in the pond when I was there but a beautiful meadow

    Pond in the heart of the forest, accessible by a road in good condition from Rambouillet or Le Perray. The road passes over the dyke which retains the pond. However, following lengthy work, the pond was emptied and is unable to regain its former level. From now on, it looks more like a wetland.
