The sanctuary of the Madonna di Col de' Venti is a rural church that stands on the ridge of Mount Muccia at an altitude of 750 metres. The current church was built in 1894. The construction of the church was carried out precisely on the site where two young Germans who wanted to bring the image of the Madonna with child to Rome were forced to stop for unknown reasons.
