The river Finita has an etymological root with the Latin finitus, finite, border. In fact, this river that rises on Serra Pantalonata was in ancient times the administrative border between the territories of the medieval castrums of San Marco and Regina. Just upstream of the town of San Martino di Finita, which takes its name from the river, there are two consecutive water jumps between the ruins of ancient mills that deserve to be seen
