Typical buildings dating from the late 17th century to the beginning of the 20th century have been rebuilt here since the 1920s. Thatched half-timbered houses, a smithy, a rope workshop, a windmill and many more are on display in a village setting. There are also various themed gardens. All buildings and exhibits are from Lolland and Falster. museumlollandfalster.dk/en-gamle-huse

Vandring
In the middle of the idyllic Maribo Lakes Nature Park lies the Maribo Open Air Museum, a small oasis that offers experiences for body and soul. The houses in the museum represent various local building traditions. No two houses are the same. More information: visitlolland-falster.de/de/das-freilichtmuseum-gdk789901
