The birthplace of the Lilienthal brothers has set up a great museum here, near the Anklam train station, which focuses primarily on the aviation pioneering achievements of Otto Lilienthal, but also does not hide the achievements of his brother Gustav. The heart and highlight of the - rightly - multiple award-winning museum is the sun-drenched large room with the many models of the flying machines, where you can clearly see the effort and joy of experimentation that went into their construction. The museum is both informative and excellently designed.
