Vandring
The Melchersbrücke lies exactly in the visual axis between Parkhotel (with Domspitzen) and Meierei on the other side. A great view in both directions.

Vandring
Bridge donated in 1880 by the overseas merchant Carl Melchers. It was designed by the architect Heinrich Müller and decorated with gas lantern attachments made by the metalworker Leidenberg. The railings running over the bridge are designed as balustrades and accentuated at the corners with obelisks. The bridge was already planned by Benque as a monumental interruption of the line of sight between the parking garage and the dairy and was inaugurated in 1883 with the watercourse created with the financial help of the savings bank.
