As the name suggests, the Kuiperspoort used to house the Kuipersgilde. It is a beautiful courtyard that you can walk past if you are not paying attention. The Kuiperspoort can be found between Dam Square and Rouaanse Kaai. The houses there are mainly from the second half of the sixteenth century. In the first half of the seventeenth century the courtyard was bought by the Kuipersgilde. A number of companies are now located in the former Kuiperhuizen, including the Walcheren art education foundation, where various painting and drawing lessons can be followed.

As the name suggests, the Kuiperspoort used to house the Kuipers Guild. It is a beautiful courtyard that you can walk past if you are not paying attention. The Kuiperspoort is located between the Dam and the Rouaanse Kaai. Most of the houses there date from the second half of the sixteenth century. In the first half of the seventeenth century, the hofje was bought by the Kuipersgilde. Several companies are now located in the former Kuiper houses, including the Walcheren art education foundation, where various painting and drawing lessons can be followed.
