Village church, located in a street bend, at the intersection of Sulferberg and Poperingestraat. Surrounding cemetery, including the British military cemetery "Westouter British Cemetery" surrounded by a brick wall and cast iron gates on the street sides; also a yew hedge. Church path shaded by lime trees. Arduinen war memorial in the bend.
West-oriented, three-aisled hall church with east tower, after partial destruction during the First World War, partly on old foundations, rebuilt with the addition of a baptistery and sacristy and extension of the choir to a design by architect J. Coomans (Ypres) in 1921.
