Cykling
The town was founded by the Arabs who built a military tower that is still visible today. This tower was conquered by the Normans in the 11th century and was actively used by them.
Typical are the homemade desserts (cannoli) of Burgio. Characteristics are the hand-painted ceramics with typical yellow and green colors and the bronze bells, wooden objects and embroidery.
