The Old Town Hall in Haßfurt, a town in the Lower Franconian district of Haßberge in Bavaria, was built at the end of the 15th century and altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. Haßfurt is a city with many remarkable half-timbered and gabled houses in the old town between the Bamberg and Würzburg towers. Worth seeing are in particular the old town hall (three-story building with a stepped gable), the current town hall (baroque building), the chapel (pilgrimage church of the Virgin Mary), as a symbol of the city, and the church of St. Kilian with two impressive carvings (Maria and Johannes der Täufer) that are attributed to Tilmann Riemenschneider.
