An unbelievable experience when you see these masses of water roaring unleashed and, flanked by a rainbow or two, hear them thundering down into the depths.
Tip: bring a good rain cape and preferably an umbrella with you - the wind changes really quickly or picks up so much that you can easily get completely soaked by the spray.

Incredibly impressive natural spectacle. However, don't be afraid of water. Depending on the spray, you'll be wet down to your underwear afterwards.

The explorer David Livingston of Scotland, who traveled to the area in 1855, gave the waterfall its name in honor of Queen Victoria. The nearby town is also named after the researcher. The locals called it "Thundering Smoke". It is up to 1800m wide and up to 120m high. The special thing is that its water forms a thick fog when it falls. In good conditions it can be seen up to 20 km away.
The waterfall is definitely worth a visit in order not to miss this natural spectacle.
