The cycle path that connects Spoleto to Assisi at this point passes near the town of San Giacomo, a town originally founded as an assistance point for pilgrims. The complete itinerary measures approximately 50 kilometers and is completely flat and alternates a few sections on secondary roads with sections on cycle/pedestrian paths.
