With 18,500 hectares, South Tyrol is the largest contiguous fruit-growing region in Europe. Six billion apples are produced here every year. Lana is the largest and at the same time one of the oldest fruit-growing communities in the country and is therefore ideal for a museum presentation of the topic of fruit growing.
