A museum is housed in this stately home. There you can take a look at the lives of the people who once lived here and learn more about the Great Irish Famine that hit the country in the middle of the 19th century. At that time 1,490 hungry people made their way from this place to Dublin to emigrate from there to America by ship. After visiting the museum, you can take a long walk through the park.
