So much can be found after all the few publications: Longhouse and choral tower are late Gothic, tower top and tower dome ("onion dome") were added in the Baroque, the attachment of the churchyard with a stone wall was made in the 15th century.

In the small village of Ailersbach, a district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in Middle Franconia, the branch church of St. Martin stands on a small hill in the middle of the village.
The village and church probably came into being around the 9th century, first mentioned in 1405, the year it was donated to the Bishop of Bamberg.
The church with the choir tower from 1468 and the striking onion dome was last renovated in 2008. Inside are v. a. mentioning the ceiling paintings created in 1921.
